Volunteer Weekend

  • Sweet Farm 210 Hall Road Himrod, NY, 14842 United States (map)

Want to get your hands dirty for a good cause, but not able to commit to a regular volunteer slot? Come to one of our volunteer weekend days!

We will be putting the garden beds to sleep for the winter and we need all the hands we can get!

Our garden feeds both our community and our rescued animals, and prepping the beds before winter both protects them and ensures that we can get food planted as soon as the ground thaws in spring, instead of having to wait until the ground dries up enough that we can work in compost and do the rest of our bed prep tasks. This means we can feed our community even sooner!

And after you’ve spent some time in the garden, come spend some time with our rescued animals on a free tour!
